Keeping children safe, health and wellbeing
WORKING TOGETHER TO SAFEGUARD CHILDREN
We know that some children attending Salterhebble may be vulnerable and, as adults, we have a moral duty to protect them, to ensure their needs are met and to support them and their family. As adults working with children, we have a statutory duty to ensure their safety and the healthy development of all children in our care. As a school community, we are strongly committed to working in close partnership with parents/carers and other agencies. It is everyone's responsibility to 'take special care' to safeguard and promote the welfare of our children.
These pages bring together sources of information and signpost you to services that provide help and support on a variety of topics to help you keep your child safe from abuse and harm.
